Okay, A LOT of people have been doing this, so I thought, why not?
My da story starts over two years ago.... But I'll go back even further...
You might be saying "But wait! You've only been on DA for 6 months!!" Technically, but that isn't the whole story.

Not that long ago, in a land not that far away, there lived a small girl who loved to draw and watch tv.
As she got older, she would start to rent dvds and binge watch tv. Not long after that, she would constantly argue with her friends how much Robin and Raven should be a couple and not Robin and Starfire. Her friends called her weird for saying things like that, and so the girl decided to keep all of her "weird" thoughts to herself.
She would draw everyday, and daydream what it would be like to be a character in her favorite tv show. But, she stopped doing so. Her friends had convinced her that what she was doing wasn't normal. She stopped wondering what it would be like, stopped arguing who would make the best couple, and she even stopped drawing.
For the next few years, she tried to be "normal". Then years later, one of her new friends introduced her to the Warriors book series. The girl wasn't the best reader, in fact, she hated reading. But because her friend begged, she read the first book. Then the second, then the third, and before she knew it she had read all of the books that were out and filed up an entire sketchbook.
The girl was flabbergasted after realizing how many books she had read that first half of summer, more than she could've imagined. But after catching up, there was a void, an empty space in her day. No reading, none of the characters she had grown attached to, it was like reading was her drug, her escape from the mundane world she lived in.
She flipped through her sketch book, looking at all of the drawings she had created. Then an idea struck her. If I like to draw Warriors, there MUST be other people who do too! So she went online, and searched everything she could think of. Wikipedia, read that. Blah, blah, blah... Ooh, the new book is coming out! ..... Dee-vee-int-art? What kind of name is that?
She clicked on the strangely-named site, and was astounded by how well the people on "DeviantArt" drew! And for the next year, the girl would visit the site, checking up on her favorite artists.
She learned that years ago when she would try to pair characters it was called "Shipping" or when she wanted to create a character it was called an "OC".
She realized how many people were just like her!
Then one day, a favorite artist of hers, posted a journal stating all of the anime she has watched. Awna-may? Anna-may? What.. is this? She looked at the titles, Peach Girl, Hetalia, Ouran High School Host Club, and the list went on.
These names are so weird! Jeez, what's the big deal with all this 'awna-may'? She looked at the first title. Peach Girl The girl looked up the first episode. She sat there waiting for it to load, wanting to figure out why her favorite artist loved 'awna-may' so much.
The theme song was weird, but the show was really entertaining! And before the girl knew what happened, she had watched about half of the series. And this continued with many more shows.
The summer of 2012 was when the girl discovered anime. Then one day, she decided that it was time to make an account. It was May 3rd 2013, and the girl had made her first DeviantArt account. She didn't post any art, she wasn't nearly confident enough.
Months passed, and she was still going strong with her love of anime. But eventually, her love started to die out. Like everything does, it started to fade. She drew less, watched less, read less, she even stopped going on DeviantArt.
Then, after two months, she checked back on DeviantArt. She was deleting her +Watch messages when she saw another journal by the same artist who got her to watch anime. The girl clicked, and scrolled down. The artist was talking about this show called "Hetalia". It defiantly sounded weird. Then one thing led to another and the girl did it again. After finishing "Hetalia: Axis Powers" she loved anime once more. And that would stay, for a long time.

Time Skip to January 12, 2014

The girl was back on deviantart, but she decided it was time for a fresh start. She was going to make a new account.
Certain things in her life weren't going too well, so she named her new account, How2HandleHeartbreak .  It wasn't the most creative thing, but at least no one else had a similar username.
The girl still didn't have enough confidence to show her own artwork, so she didn't post it. Then, after gaining a few +Watchers, FallingDownWillows asked if she would draw Hetalia England. The girl was absolutely terrified about sharing her drawings, but she agreed to anyway.
The girl posted it, and she was shocked with the amount of feedback. It gave her just enough confidence to post another piece of artwork, and another, and another. She wasn't the most popular on DeviantArt, but she was happy.

Time Skip to Last Month, July 2014

Like usual, the girl was browsing DeviantArt. Her mother had been gone for the day, her grandpa wasn't doing good. He had alzheimer's disease. He's had it for years, and his body was finally shutting down. It was about 10pm that her mother came home, the girl came downstairs to greet her. She saw a look in her mother's eyes, one that she wished she'd never have to see. Her mom didn't have to say anything, but she knew that her grandpa had died. The sadness and guilt was crushing the girl, there was so many things she wanted to tell him, ask him, learn from him. With the disease she knew it was impossible, but she managed to hold on to a single thread of hope. And suddenly, that hope was gone.
The girl thought about the disease she knew all to well, it starts with forgetting where you put your keys, where you parked your car. Then you forget simple things, like manners. Then you forget your family, you forget how to walk, talk, and eat. Then, you die. That's the disease that she had lost her grandfather to.
Her friends were away, her family crying, it felt like she had no one to go to. Then the girl turned to DeviantArt. She posted a journal stating that she needed to talk to someone. After talking to all the people that noted her, she realized that there really is always someone who cares. The girl realized that even if you feel alone in the world, someone will stand beside you.

((Note: I wrote that all in one go, and I didn't edit it. So sorry if something doesn't make sense, if I was rambling, or if I misspelled something.))
